Our imagination wanders and our senses tremble, whenever we hear transparent poetry that evokes geography, history, a beautiful person, or a charming lover, so that we can imagine the rest of the scenes and episodes, in the direction dictated by inspiration. Perhaps over the past years, we did not ask ourselves while repeating:
As if he was not among the pilgrims to Safa
Anis and did not Samar in Mecca Samer.
Why did the poet single out Al-Hajjun, and not others?
I lived in Jarham; The Sacred Country, coming from the Levant, and they descended on Hagar and her son Ismail; who married them and they are his maternal uncles; And they took over the guardianship of the Sacred House; However, by increasing their prestige, they wronged those who entered it without its people, and they devoured the money of the Kaaba that is gifted to it. And they accepted what was harsh from its sanctity, so God weakened their affairs, and Banu Bakr bin Kinana and Banu Ghabshan bin Khuza’a gave them power, so they defeated their drag and exiled them from Makkah, and under the awe of defeat and refraction, they buried the well of Zamzam, the two gazelles of the Kaaba, and the corner stone, and they went out to Yemen, so nostalgia returned to them. Their poet, Amr bin Al-Harith bin Mudas Al-Jarhami, sang, mentioning their condition, their estrangement, and their negligence:
And she said tears poured initiator
It shone with tears from the quarries
As if he was not among the pilgrims to Safa
Anis did not Samar Mecca Samer!
The poet of youth, Omar bin Abi Rabia (Rea’a Al-Hajjun), did not neglect the residential address of his lover, “Salma”, whom he met while circumambulating, and asked her about her name and the location of her home. He said:
I swear by the ancient house to tell me
what name; She said she is from the Adama lineage
The name is Salma, and the houses are Mecca
And the house is between Al-Hjun and Gilma.
Some may pronounce it “Al-Hijul”, and it is correct that it is in the “Nun”, according to what is confirmed by the scholar of Al-Jazeera Hamad Al-Jasser, that Al-Hajjun after the open “Ha” is a declension and the last is “Nun”, a mountain at the top of Mecca, from the house a mile and a half away, on it is the shed of the Ziyad bin Abdullah Al-Harithi family, and he was a worker on Mecca.
Ibn Manzoor in Lisan Al-Arab Al-Hajjun is attributed to the mountain overlooking the tombs of Al-Mu’alla, the Jinn Mosque, and Al-Ihtijan: collecting the thing, joining it to you, and it is fabricated from the Mahjan. And in the hadeeth: I would not cut you off the agate because you needed it. He also says: In the hadith of Ibn Dhi Yazan: We needed him and no one else. And the pilgrimage of the house: he resided there. And the hajn: the short bars in which the grapes are, and one of them is a hajna. He also says that he is a mahjen of money: He fixes the money on his hands and improves his flock and upholding it, and Al-Azraqi said in (Akhbar Makkah and what came in it from the narrations) Al-Hajjun: The honorable mountain is the shoe of the Allegiance Mosque, which is called the Mosque of the Guards, and in it there is a tuck that leads from the wall of Awf from the place of those who leave to The people of the butchers, and its origin in the people of the butchers was the cemetery in the pre-Islamic era, and in it Katheer bin Katheer says:
How much that pilgrimage from the sincerity neighborhood
From old age forgive him and youth.
It was included by Ibn Ishaq Ibn al-Abbas al-Fakihi in (Akhbar Makkah in the Old Time and its Hadith), quoting al-Zubayr bin Abi Bakr as saying Hind bint Utbah bin Rabi’ah bin Abd Shams:
God forbid all Sabeh Buj
And Mecca or the outskirts of the pilgrimage
She condemns the coven who killed her father
Kill your father came to you with certainty.
Al-Fakihi also mentions what Abdullah bin Salem Al-Khayyat said on the authority of Al-Hajjun:
A liquid with a splash of water
Battah Mecca Valhajun
Do you like Talha?
Who resides and who shows.
Andalusi quotes Naseeb saying:
I will forget you what Thabeer put in his place
And as long as a neighbor of the imprisoned pilgrims.
And the sayings indicated that Al-Hajjun is a name for the fold that runs from Al-Muhassab to Dhu Tuwa, and a name for the mountain overlooking it, which is located at its tip, for this reason it was called Al-Hajjun, and Al-Thaniyya Al-Alia and Kada, and some of the common people turn the nun into a lama, and they call it the revenue of Al-Hijul, and the mention of Al-Hajjun is repeated in ancient poetry :
When we met the pilgrims, I breathed
Sad breathing, sick hearted
And she said, "What a fear of her tears."
Do you live there or are you a non-resident?
