The Education and Training Evaluation Authority, represented by the National Center for School Evaluation and Excellence (Tamayouz), held yesterday the second forum to introduce the school calendar, in the presence of more than 800 principals and employees of education offices.
The forum included a number of visual presentations, which included defining the authority’s role in public education, the school evaluation program (definition and objectives), presentation of school evaluation standards, tools and their application guides, the digital platform for school evaluation, and how to benefit from school evaluation data in development and performance improvement processes.
The school calendar aims to improve the quality of school performance in all its aspects, enhance the participation of students and parents in school improvement processes, introduce stakeholders and parents to the level of schools and highlight the distinguished ones, in addition to identifying schools that require more care and development, and improving learning outcomes in a way that contributes to achieving the goals Human capacity development program, enhancing the capacities of schools for sustainable development and improvement, promoting a culture of quality and school calendar, and stimulating excellence.
The school evaluation program includes an integrated technical system for managing school self- and external evaluation and accreditation processes. It includes automated tools and guides for their application, which support data analysis and electronic reporting. It implements its operations based on a set of tools that contribute to forming a comprehensive picture of the school’s reality, including: Document analysis , interviews, questionnaires, exam systems and professional licensing for teachers.
