The holy month is the most beautiful of memories. We used to live in patterns of behavior and upbringing, including fasting half the day, then breaking the fast, then fasting, and the accompanying ignorance of a child in hiding in a hidden corner for a drink of water or a loaf of bread dipped in a cup of tea. , and we had roles due to the lack of microphones in the mosques, we shouted if the muezzin called for Morocco, “Your breakfast, O fasting person, is permanent for you in Paradise.”

What is left of the memories of the first Ramadan of his silence?

•• In fact, I do not remember that exact day, but I do remember that my father – may God protect him – was very keen to train and qualify us for fasting from a young age, through enthusiasm and encouragement, and on a personal level they excited me; Because I am the eldest of my brothers, and I am a role model, and it is true that fasting as a child had a feeling of pleasure and a feeling that you had become one of the adults.

• How did you fast, break your fast, and eat Suhoor?

•• Iftar was very simple, in line with the nature of life and non-existent luxury, dates and soup according to the living conditions of the families and the alms they received, and so was the case of Suhoor “bread, edam and something from a little rice.” .

What is your favorite character in Ramadan?

•• My paternal grandmother, Maslahah, may God have mercy on her, was a difference in my life, and during Ramadan she has a great role in my life and many behavioral patterns that I learned from her.

What do you read during the month of Ramadan?

•• Since we fall short in reading the Qur’an throughout the year, I spend most of my time in reciting the Holy Qur’an.

What is the favorite dish on the table?

•• Dates, samosas, soup and berries.

• What TV program are you keen to follow?

•• My follow-up to TV in Ramadan is very small, and it is limited to a period after Maghrib. In the past, Umm Hadijan, Sheikh Ali Al-Tantawi, writer Hussein Zaidan, then Tash, then Al-Asouf.

Who do you invite to breakfast with you?

•• Relatives, family, friends, and whoever honors us, we honor him.

• What do you miss in Ramadan?

A: We believe that it is a blessed month, and it has a special character in which we must change and change our behavior.

What would you like if everyone adhered to?

•• Tolerance, rejection of differences, and reconciliation with people and with oneself.

•• I do not see that, but rather it is a station that should be the most beautiful and splendid in the stages of a person's life, and that it should be full of activity, vitality, optimism and work.

• How did you reconcile between media work and fasting in Ramadan, especially during your work in Makkah Al-Mukarramah?

•• Feelings of honor to work in the service of visitors and pilgrims are unmatched by anything in its beauty, comfort and enjoyment. God testifies that it is a pleasure, as it is different from any other work task. And he dreams about it, and when I see my colleagues these days, I feel nostalgic and desire to be with them, may God grant them success.

• What are your memories left in your beautiful village?

•• The village of Wadi Al-Muraifaq Bani Al-Harith, south of Taif, about 160 kilometers away. The most beautiful and delicate days of my life, may God have mercy on those who died and protect the living from them.
