The "bullying" ousted British Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab, who announced his resignation today (Friday), after an independent report concluded that he bullied government employees, in a setback for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who was an ally of him. "I am writing to you to resign from your government," Raab, who was the justice minister, wrote in a letter to Sunak. He added, "I asked for this investigation and pledged to resign if the facts of bullying were proven, whatever they were," stressing, "I think it is important to respect my word." Sunak received the investigation report yesterday (Thursday).

The investigation took place over a period of months over eight complaints about his conduct as foreign secretary, Brexit secretary and during his first stint as justice minister.

Independent investigator Adam Tolley was asked to start investigating allegations of bullying last November, which proved to be bullying of employees.
