The patrols of the security regiments in Al-Ardah Governorate in the Jazan region arrested a citizen for transporting him in a vehicle driven by (6) violators of the border security system of Ethiopian nationality.
A spokesman for the Agency of the Ministry of Interior for Security Regiment Affairs affirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the border security system to the Kingdom, or transfers them within it, or provides them with shelter, or provides them with any assistance or service in any way, exposes himself to penalties of up to 15 years in prison. And a fine of up to one million riyals, and the confiscation of the means of transportation and the housing used for shelter, in addition to defaming him.
He explained that this crime is considered one of the major crimes that necessitate arrest, and breaches honor and trust, urging that violators of residence, work and border security systems be reported at the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
