Places, times, and locations are honored by virtue of their connection to those who give them the honor, and any honor is greater than honoring the Chosen One, peace and blessings be upon him, for every spot he passed, stopped at, performed ablution from, or prayed in. And the “well of planting” in Tayyibat al-Tayyibah was the source of water financing for the chambers of the Prophet’s women, the mothers of the believers, and the bather of the Prophet’s body, at the behest of him, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. It is located in the Al-Awali neighborhood on Qurban Road, south of the Noble Sanctuary, and is about 1,500 meters away from the Quba Mosque to the northeast.
The historical researcher Fouad Daifallah Al-Maghamsi identifies the location of the well with its water that washed the pure body of the Prophet's body, upon him the best prayers and the delivery was completed, in the northeastern side of the Quba Mosque in Alia Al-Madinah, and it was for the honorable companion Saad bin Khaithama – may God be pleased with him – in Al-Awali, and the Prophet recommended – Peace and blessings of God be upon him – to wash from it, and many hadiths and news about this well were reported by the historian of Medina Ibn Zabalah and Ibn Shabah and in Tabaqat Ibn Sa’d and by Imam al-Samhudi in his book Wafa’ al-Wafa’.

And Ibn Zabalah said: Anas bin Malik came to Quba and said: Where is this well of yours – meaning the well of Ghars – so we showed it to him. He said: I saw the Messenger of God – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – come to it and that it is watered on a donkey by magic (i.e. her waterwheel is dragged by a donkey at the end of the night), so the Prophet – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – called for a bucket of its water, performed ablution with it, then poured it into it, and it did not bled after. And on the authority of Anas – may God be pleased with him – he said: Bring me water from the well of Ghars, for I saw the Messenger of God – may God bless him and grant him peace – drinking from it and performing ablution. A tent called al-Ghars Quba.
On the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib – may God be pleased with him – he said: The Messenger of God – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – said: “If I die, wash me with seven water-skins from the well of Ghars.” And on the authority of Abu Jaafar that the Prophet – may God bless him and grant him peace – washed from the well of Saad bin Khaithama, a well from which he used to draw fresh water.
