After a calm that lasted for hours in Khartoum and a number of states, clashes renewed this evening (Sunday) in areas in 9 Sudanese states, most notably Khartoum.

The Sudanese army carried out raids on the vicinity of the Corps of Engineers, while the Rapid Support Forces published a video claiming the surrender of the Director of the Military Justice Department.

And the Sudanese Armed Forces had announced their agreement on the United Nations proposal to open safe paths for humanitarian cases for a period of 3 hours, starting from four in the afternoon, provided that this does not cancel their right to respond in the event of any transgressions by the rebel militia, but the Rapid Support Forces said that they will allow the paths Safe for 3 hours in response to the UN initiative.

On its Facebook page, the Sudanese army announced its control of the bases and headquarters of the Rapid Support Forces in 7 states, including Port Sudan, Kassala, Gedaref, Damazin, Kosti and Kadugli, stressing that the members of the support forces fled from those locations, leaving all their equipment and vehicles.

The Sudanese army reassured the people that the armed forces are coherent and will resolve the situation soon, accusing the Rapid Support Forces of targeting individuals with snipers.

The army said in a statement: The general situation is stable and limited clashes took place at the headquarters of the General Command, denying what the Rapid Support Forces reported about their seizure of army sites.

The army said: There is no truth to the rebel militia's claims that it has taken over or merely approached any of the headquarters of the General Command, and the fire that broke out in the ground forces tower was caused by the morning clashes, and it was controlled and no one was hurt.

The Sudanese Rapid Support Forces said earlier that it had shot down an Apache helicopter in Khartoum and took control of the leadership of the 16th Infantry Division, after battles with the Sudanese army in Nyala, South Darfur, as well as the Corps of Engineers in the city of Omdurman, Khartoum state.

In turn, the Sudanese Central Committee of Doctors (non-governmental) announced that the clashes claimed the lives of 56 civilians and injured 595 others, including military personnel, and there are dozens of critical cases.

According to information from media sources, among the most prominent dead in the army and RSF are the commander of the North Darfur sector of the RSF, the commander of the West Darfur sector of the RSF, the commander of the General Command force of the Sudanese army, and the commander of the army base in Jabal Awliya.

In the same context, the Sudanese Minister of Minerals, Muhammad Bashir Nammu, announced the killing of two of his family members, two of his bodyguards, and a fifth person, as two shells fell on his house in Khartoum, confirming in a post on his Facebook account: that two consecutive RPG shells landed on his house in Khartoum North in Early this morning (Sunday), which led to the killing of two of his family members and three others, including two bodyguards, while they were in one of the rooms of the house.
