Al-Jabri stressed that the operation did not end, but the process of tracking down the cells of the organization continued, and within months the forces were able to arrest dozens of terrorist cells on the coast of Hadramout, pointing out that these successes are due to careful security work and successful intelligence, which contributed to the consolidation of stability and security in the coast. .
The military spokesman pointed out that the anti-terrorism operations did not stop, but that security data identified the organization's hideouts in Wadi Al-Musayni, which made the Legitimacy Support Coalition take a new decision to support the Yemeni army and the Hadrami Elite Forces to carry out Operation "Al-Faisal", and the main base's dens in Wadi were stormed. He added, "Another operation was launched to secure the coast of Hadhramaut through Operation Black Mountains, followed by Operation Iron Fist to secure all the borders of the districts of Hadramout coast from the infiltration and movement of elements of the terrorist organization," stressing that these operations contributed to the normalization of the situation in Hadramout, and enabled the authorities to normalize public life. Al-Jabri noted the great support provided by the Legitimacy Support Coalition to the Yemeni army, which contributed to the recovery of Hadramout, appreciating the tremendous efforts provided by the Saudi Program for the Reconstruction of Yemen or the King Salman Humanitarian Center to support service and government institutions in the province, which resulted in the operation of Al-Rayyan Airport and a number of revenue facilities. Yemeni security and military sources confirmed to "Okaz" that the Yemeni government forces, with the support of the Legitimacy Support Coalition, managed to kill more than 700 terrorists, and arrested more than 600 others in the first operation to purify Hadramout governorate from terrorist elements. The sources stated that the ground forces succeeded in resolving the battle without the need for the intervention of the naval forces, and in a tactical way that contributed to preserving civilians. According to the sources, al-Qaeda caused great losses as a result of its bombing of a number of service institutions, police stations, courts, and booby-trapped prisons, in addition to damaging the port and burning Al-Mukalla Radio. The losses caused by the terrorist organization in Hadramout were estimated at "billions", but Hadramout recovered after its cleansing, especially after Operation "Al-Faisal"; Which eliminated the remnants of the organization and contributed to the purification of Wadi Hadramout (one of the governorate's directorates). The sources pointed out that Hadramout today is in a state of stability, development and construction in light of the generous support through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, in addition to local support.

The Yemeni army launched Operation Arrows of the East in Abyan, last year, to pursue al-Qaeda, and managed to liberate the mountains of Mudiya district and destroy an organization camp that was used as a starting point for terrorist operations. According to military sources, the army killed more than 100 terrorist elements and arrested more than 10 cells, some of them specialized in planting mines and explosive devices.
According to “Okaz” sources, the Yemeni army, with the support of the Arab coalition, was able to control the largest al-Qaeda camp in Abyan, called the “Omran” strategic camp, and it is located east of the “Mudiya” district, stressing that its elements who managed to escape took refuge in its center. the main one in Al-Bayda Governorate; that fall outside the legal areas.
The operation, which was launched in August 2022, came after the organization carried out about 8 terrorist attacks with explosive devices during the same year, all of which occurred in the towns of Wadi Omran, Al-Mahfad, and Mudiyah – east of Abyan – and left 31 dead and wounded.
