Today (Saturday), the Sudanese army denied the Rapid Support Forces' control over the General Command of the Armed Forces, accusing the Rapid Support Forces of spreading lies and nonsense about its control of the General Command, Military Industrialization and the Presidential Palace, while its soldiers and officers fall in the streets of Khartoum without treatment or medicine, and its leaders hide after being killed. I knew things would be settled soon.
The army confirmed, in a statement, that the head of the Intelligence Department of the Rapid Support Forces announced his joining the army.
The Rapid Support Forces had said in a statement that they had taken control of a number of strategic headquarters and locations in the capital and the states, including the General Command of the Armed Forces.
The forces said that they had taken control of the heads of divisions in the states of Darfur and a number of states that are being counted, and the air navigation in all of Sudan, confirming that a number of senior officers in the army, led by the Inspector General of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Dr. Mubarak Kuti Kamtor, had joined it.
And she added, "A large number of armed forces officers are wounded," indicating that it took control of the air base in Jabal al-Awliya, and the Soba al-Baqir camp, which includes more than 60 tanks and large quantities of military machinery and equipment.
The forces indicated that they had taken control of the headquarters of the General Authority for Radio and Television, specifically the hideout of Al-Burhan, Kabbashi and Muhammad Othman Al-Hussein, and work is underway to arrest them.
The forces stated in a statement that 42 snipers were captured and detained with their weapons, all of whom belong to a group led by Osama Abdullah, fighting alongside the leadership of the armed forces.
On the other hand, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused the Rapid Support Forces of incursing into Khartoum airport and causing damage to two planes (Saudi and Sudanese).
The Foreign Ministry said: The army has regained control of Khartoum Airport.
On the other hand, 25 people were killed and 183 others injured in the ongoing clashes in Khartoum, according to the Sudan Doctors Syndicate.
