The General Commission for Audiovisual Media confirmed the production and screening of 31 Saudi cinematic films since the opening of the cinema in 2018, in support of the local cinema industry and diversifying sources of income and entertainment, in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.
The authority announced the 5 most attended Saudi films in cinemas in the Kingdom, noting that the movie “Sattar” topped the list of the most attended films in cinemas, achieving sales of nearly one million tickets.
The authority stated that, in order to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030 in diversifying sources of income and entertainment, and in support of the local cinema industry, 31 Saudi films have been produced and shown since the opening of the cinema in 2018, where the movie “Sattar” came at the forefront of the most attended Saudi films in cinemas in the Kingdom, followed by “Al-Hamour H.A.,” then “Born a King” came in third place, while “Shams Al-Maaref” came in fourth place, and finally “Masameer” came in the fifth and final place.
