Death – Cause of death: Remains of Martins Ferry couple found in the Ohio River on Thursday.

The body of an Ohio couple who has been missing since June 10th, 2018 has now been found in the Ohio River. The couple who are from the Martins Ferry went missing after they were seen leaving a Pizza Hut on National Road in St. Clairsville.

Brian Goff missing:

The 64-year-old was reported missing in June 2018 after he suddenly disappeared alongside his wife.

Authorities carried out several extensive searches after they were reported missing but it all turned up nothing.

Joni Davis missing:

The 55-year-old, Joni was reported missing from St. Clairsville in June 2018 along with her husband.

According to report, she was said to have suffered a traumatic brain injury in the past and this made her disappearance very worrisome.

Body found in Ohio River:

A press release by the police says that the remains of two couples were found in the Ohio River on Thursday, 11th of November 2021. The remains were said to have been found inside a vehicle that was submerged inside the river.

The vehicle was found by the Illinois-based dive team who were working in the Ohio River near Rayland. The vehicle was found deep inside the water at about 8 feet and was brought out using large types of equipment. The remains of two couples were found inside the vehicle.

Brian Goff and Joni Davis death:

The body found in the Ohio River on Thursday has now been confirmed to be the Missing Martins Ferry Couple who had been missing for over 3 years.

The report says the Local law enforcement officers will have a news conference to announce the death of the couple. The cause of death of the couple has not been given as the medical examiner’s office will carry out a further examination to determine the cause and manner of their death.

Condolences have been offered to the family of the deceased couple.
