And on a question about clients’ complaints to take revenge on lawyers by means of colleagues in the profession, to the extent of harming them and canceling their licenses, the deputy head of the committee, Youssef Al-Madani, was surprised by the disavowal of some clients at the time of paying the fees and their turning against the lawyers who were defending them, asking, “Why is reconciliation not sought instead of trying to take revenge? », calling on lawyers to be compassionate and merciful to their colleagues and to strive to reach a satisfactory reconciliation for all parties, and not to be their enemies.
And about the complaints of some lawyers about the abuses directed at them on social media, the head of the Lawyers Committee in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, lawyer Khaled Abu Rashid, explained that this is the nature of the means of communication, indicating that no one is spared from the abuses directed at them, and everyone must know that, pointing out that it is from It is unreasonable for a person to devote himself to the complaints of abusers, especially those with unknown identifiers, and it is better to resort to “banning” and “disgrace”. Regarding a lawyer’s wish to approve immunity for lawyers to facilitate treatment from Public Prosecution investigators, the deputy head of the Lawyers’ Committee in Riyadh, Rayan Qurban, asked: Can the General Secretariat of the Bar Association issue statements or take a specific position against the abuses issued against lawyers by publishing rulings on social media In all the details, especially in public opinion issues?
