The commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Muhammad Hamdan Daglo, pledged not to escalate against the backdrop of the recent crisis in the Marawi region in the north of the country, declaring his readiness to sit with the head of the Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, at any time and without restriction or condition. A statement issued by the leaders of the Sudanese movements, today (Friday), stated that Dagalo, after a frank and serious dialogue, affirmed his full commitment to non-escalation. He revealed his readiness for dialogue in order to reach a radical solution to the crisis that would stop bloodshed and achieve security and tranquility for the people and the country.

The statement was signed by the owner of Aqar Air, Mona Arko Minawi, Jibril Ibrahim Muhammad, Muhammad Issa Aliyu, and Abdullah Ali Masar.
