Speakers at the conference for the glorification of the Two Holy Mosques and Al-Aqsa, which was held in the Pakistani city of Lahore and organized by the Pakistan Scholars Council headed by its president, Tahir Mahmoud Al-Ashrafi, praised the position of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the issues of Palestine and Kashmir, and stressed that they are among the most important issues of the Islamic nation, and that their solution requires taking necessary practical steps.

The conference welcomed the honoring of the Council of Scholars of Pakistan, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, with the Peace Leader Award for the year 2022-2023, praising the role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince in serving the issues of the Islamic nation and the humanitarian steps in the Arab and Islamic world.

The speakers made it clear that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan stand together on these two issues, and stress the necessity of resolving them in accordance with the resolutions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United Nations.

The speakers added that after the improvement of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iran and the return of relations in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Bahrain to normal thanks to the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, practical measures must be taken to resolve the issues of Kashmir and Palestine.
