The Deputy Emir of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region and Vice-Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, chaired at the emirate’s headquarters in Jeddah the meeting of the committee, which included a review of the authorities’ plans and preparations during the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan, and a discussion of the authorities’ preparations for the Hajj season in 1444 AH. And he looked at the readiness of the service agencies to provide the necessary services to the guests of Rahman during the last ten days of the month of Ramadan, starting with the stage of their arrival and residence in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, their performance of their rituals and prayers in the Sacred Mosque, and their departure from the holy capital, reviewing a statistic of the services that were provided to the guests of the Sacred House of God since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, as More than 7,600,000 meals were distributed through the watering and irrigation program, and more than 32,000 liters of Zamzam water were distributed in the Grand Mosque. The meeting of the Central Hajj Committee included a discussion of the authorities’ early preparations for this year’s Hajj season and the extent of their readiness, as well as looking at all the projects being implemented in the holy sites, and the completion rates, to ensure their readiness early before the Hajj season, by conducting field experiments in the months of Shawwal and Dhu al-Qi’dah, with the aim of Providing the best services that enable the pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and ease.
