The Ministry of Education confirmed deducting a degree of attendance for each day of absence without excuse in the academic week preceding any official holiday, including the Eid al-Fitr holiday or the week following any leave after returning to school.

And the Ministry indicated, in the rules of behavior and attendance for male and female students of general education, that the evaluation of attendance for students in the first and second grades is descriptive and specialized for students from the third primary to the third intermediate grades 100 degrees for each semester, and then the average grades are taken and 100 degrees are allocated for high school students at each level. It is calculated for the average student for all semesters upon graduation, and appears in the student’s result without being included in the cumulative average. It is one of the requirements for obtaining the first honors degree. It is written in a field of its own in the grade card list, and the field is an integral part of any grade list issued by the school.
