Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry announced that he will visit Turkey within two days to continue the path of normalization between Cairo and Ankara. Shoukry said in a joint press conference with his Greek counterpart, Nikos Dendias, "We interacted well with what we sensed of Turkey's tendency and desire to normalize relations."
He added: I will visit Ankara within two days to continue the path that we started to bring about this normalization on the basis of good neighborliness, mutual respect, non-interference in internal affairs, and achieving peace and stability.
On the other hand, the Egyptian Foreign Minister described the relations between Egypt and Greece as strategic and based on the principles of good neighborliness and mutual respect, and joint action to promote peace and stability, and is not directed at any other goals. He stated that the two countries seek cooperation in the field of electrical interconnection between them.
