The Emir of Jazan region explained that the launch of these zones comes as part of the continuous efforts to implement the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its continuous initiatives to transform the Kingdom into a global destination for investment, and a vital center that supports global supply chains, stressing the importance of establishing the special economic zone in Jazan due to the region's important strategic location, and the presence of Jazan Industries City. Basic and transformational, which represents the first stage of a long-term program aimed at attracting international companies, encouraging foreign direct investment, and promoting the growth of future qualitative sectors, by creating a world-class infrastructure, to support local and international investors, and to provide distinguished investment opportunities, supported by an integrated and developed system of Regulations and regulations.
He pointed out that the special economic zone will provide a fertile ground for achieving the goals of sectoral strategies that serve the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which will allow Saudi companies to benefit from the value added by the special economic zones at all levels of supply chains and in various sectors.
