The Palestinian leader in the Fatah movement, Yasser Abu Sido, described the Israeli attacks on Palestinian worshipers and the arrest of hundreds as a serious matter that requires a firm international stance to stop the brutal attacks committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people and Islamic sanctities in Jerusalem, pointing out that these events are repeated for the second year in a row.

In a statement to Okaz, Abu Sido warned that what is happening inside Al-Aqsa Mosque today (Friday) represents a prelude to dangerous events, especially in light of the Israeli army’s cruelty in expelling worshipers and preventing them from praying by force. The Palestinians feel about the Israeli plans, and the incursions carried out by the Israeli occupation forces at dawn today were considered a green light from the right-wing government.

The Palestinian leader added that the operation that took place today in the Jordan Valley, with an armed attack on a car carrying settlers, which led to the killing of 3 Israeli women, came as a response to the occupation’s crimes and continuous terror against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the continued state of repression and security prosecution, especially given the number of Palestinian detainees since the beginning of the attack. The month of Ramadan reached about 400 people, more than 300 of whom were released due to international pressure, stressing that what is happening during these days in the Palestinian territories has renewed Arab and international demands for the necessity of the right of the Palestinian people to establish their state.
