Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah thanked today (Saturday) the Saudi authorities for coordinating and providing all facilities for the transfer and evacuation of Kuwaiti citizens to the city of Jeddah.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister congratulated his counterpart, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, in a phone call today, on the success of the evacuation process, praising the high efficiency of the Saudi authorities that contributed to the success of the evacuation of Saudi citizens and a number of citizens of brotherly and friendly countries from Sudan to the Kingdom with all professionalism and competence.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs in Jordan announced the start of a plan to evacuate about 300 of its citizens who are in Sudan, taking into account the security conditions and conditions on the ground, in coordination with Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

While the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed, today, Saturday, that it is coordinating with Saudi Arabia to evacuate its Iraqi nationals from Sudan, and also announced the success of evacuating the diplomatic staff at the Iraqi embassy in Khartoum to a safe location, with a qualitative process in coordination with sister countries, in preparation for their transfer outside Sudan.

Today, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the arrival of the Kingdom's citizens and a number of nationals of brotherly and friendly countries, including diplomats and international officials, after their evacuation from Sudan, in an operation carried out by the Royal Saudi Naval Forces with 5 ships (4 frigates and a supply ship), with the support of various branches of the armed forces.

The number of citizens who were evacuated reached 91 Saudi citizens, while the number of nationals of brotherly and friendly countries reached about 66 people, representing the following nationalities (Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Tunisia, Pakistan, India, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Canada and Burkina Faso).
