Dr. Latifa Mutlaq Al-Adwani, Head of the Department of Social Sciences at Taif University, considered the head of the Taif History Center; The month of fasting is an opportunity to control negative emotions and restrain oneself, confirming that it is silent at an early age. Training in worship is directing the right path and controlling one’s behaviour.. Here is the text of the conciliation:

school every year

• What does Ramadan mean to you, and what do you remember about it?

•• The blessed month of Ramadan is the month of the Holy Qur’an, faith, patience, worship, compassion, communication and brotherhood. It is the jewel of the Islamic months and one of the most beautiful occasions. In this holy month, I remember the customs of the family and their gathering to break the fast together, then going to the Isha and Tarawih prayers and memorizing and completing the Holy Qur’an.

• What remains of the memories of the first Ramadan, his silence?

A: Of course, the first memories are almost unforgettable, especially with the family and family, because Ramadan has the privacy of family gatherings, and the children were the happiest in this beautiful Ramadan atmosphere, in addition to what Ramadan brings in terms of happiness and tasting distinct foods. We used to play and celebrate the holy month in our own way as young children. I remember that the first attempt to fast in Ramadan lasted from dawn until the afternoon, and it was a beautiful and unforgettable experience.

• How did you fast and eat Suhoor during the month of Ramadan?•• Ramadan is an opportunity to start controlling oneself and directing it towards the right direction. Our mother – may God have mercy on her – used to wake us up before dawn to eat the pre-dawn meal, after which we would stay awake until the dawn prayer to pray and then sleep.

Dates and cream

• What is your favorite character in Ramadan?

•• The most important and beloved character to my heart is my mother – may God have mercy on her -, and this is the first Ramadan without her after her death last year, may God forgive her, and after that comes the rest of the family and the family.

• What do you read in the month of Ramadan?

•• During the month of Ramadan; The Holy Qur’an, Ramadan is the month of the Qur’an and contemplating its meanings, in addition to completing most of the late duties such as research and some literature, so the blessings of the days of Ramadan help in that.

What is your favorite dish on the table?

•• Of course, dates with cream, with which you start your breakfast, soup cooked with meat, samosas, beans, tamees and luqaimat, in addition to various foods that come second in importance.

• What TV program are you keen to follow in Ramadan?

•• There is no specific program, but cultural and documentary programs and historical works related to the history of the homeland and our Islamic history are always at the forefront, and follow-up is according to the available time, which is often tight.

Loyalty and sincerity

• Who do you invite to breakfast with you?

A: Of course, all members of the family, including brothers, their sons, sisters, their sons, and relatives. The month of Ramadan is known as the month of goodness and family gathering. And often the first day of Ramadan, iftar must be at the father's house – may God have mercy on him – for all family members.

• What do you miss in Ramadan?

In fact, we miss the historical works of series and programs that aim to introduce our national history, and the role of the leaders and symbols of the country that contributed to its unification and work on its stability, especially the historical works that are directed to youth and young people to develop their national spirit and pride in their glories and ancestors.

• What would you like if all people adhere to it?

A: Of course, the adjective of absolute commitment is very difficult for some people, unfortunately, in many cases, but there are some people who are good in their private and public dealings, and I am interested here to point out a very important value; It is the value of loyalty and sincerity, and I consider it a very important religious and human value, as it generates love, peace and brotherhood among people.

• Any television work sticks to forget?

•• The truth is that there are many important works, perhaps I remember them including the program “At the Iftar Table” by Sheikh Ali Al-Tantawi – may God have mercy on him – and the “Science and Faith” program by Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud and other programs.

remains to give

• Will the intellectual retire?

A: The answer, from my point of view, is no. The intellectual’s cultural yield increases with the passage of days, or even with the passage of hours, on the condition that he keep pace with every new thing that emerges on the cultural scene, and with the passage of time his cumulative experience and culture increase, and his giving increases, so why do we kill him by setting a limit of age that removes him from the arena under the pretext of the system? , unless his circumstances do not allow him to continue and give, here he may disappear from the cultural scene automatically, and by his desire.

• Saudi poem and Arabic poems?

•• Saudi male and female poets appear strongly on the stage of Arab poetry, soaring high in the sky of Arabic literature, organizing all types of poetry and its arts, and then participating – with a distinguished and brilliant presence – in meetings and seminars on Arabic poetry, and they won many major prizes in international competitions. And they came in advanced ranks, and they have a prolific literary production. All these facts lead us to say – with confidence – that the Saudi poem – if the expression is correct – reaches the heights of Arabic poetry in our present era, without underestimating the significance of other Arab contributions, especially with the interest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With the support of poetry and poets, we are now in the year of Arabic poetry.

• Why are the lyrics of songs and soap operas often repetitive?•• I think there are good works, but some of them need to mature. Transforming literary stories into radio or television dramatic works of art, because the literary work is subject to the characteristics of the narrative and dramatic plot that make it a wonderful work that succeeds if it is turned into a television series, unlike work that does not depend on a literary story or novel.
