Information Minister Salman Al-Dossary stressed the importance of forming a "national media", away from the classifications of the old and the new, and carried the banner of harnessing all platforms to serve the nation, categorically affirming everyone's ability to do so.

The Minister of Information said, during a suhoor held by the Ministry of Information in the presence of a number of ministers, officials and media professionals: “We at the Ministry of Information were pleased to honor the ministers, officials and fellow media professionals at the media suhoor, which was held by the ministry. We agreed that this Suhoor would be annual, in which we would exchange visions and ideas, in order to enhance communication, integration and cooperation, to achieve our communication and media goals.

Al-Dosari stressed that the achievements of Vision 2030 have a lot that can be reflected in the media, considering this a "major opportunity", through which all challenges facing media work in the Kingdom can be overcome.

The "Media Suhoor" came after the "Communication Meeting" organized by the Government Communication Center at the Ministry of Information, in its second session, in the presence of more than 300 participants from corporate communication managers in government agencies, official spokespeople, and representatives of the Unified Media Program (GRID).

The meeting witnessed several presentations by various entities, including: examples of qualitative media campaigns and their success factors, and LinkedIn's presentation on the best practices of government agencies on its platform.

The meeting also included a discussion session for (META) company about successful communication experiences.

The meeting concluded with honoring the government agencies that have the highest interaction with the unified media program in government communication.
