The Deputy Emir of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region, Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, honored 7 male and female memorizers from the children of the Charitable Society for the Memorization of the Holy Qur’an in the region, among the winners of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s award for memorizing the Holy Qur’an. He also honored the two students who won the King Abdul Aziz competition. And the winner of the Dubai International Competition for Memorizing the Qur’an, this came during his sponsorship of the annual ceremony to honor 400 memorizers and memorizers of the Book of God Almighty among the students of the association in the vicinity of the Prophet’s Mosque.
The Deputy Emir of the region congratulated the honorable students for memorizing the Noble Qur’an, and advised them to adopt the teachings of the Qur’an, adopt the morals of the Qur’an, and adopt the etiquette and teachings of our tolerant Islamic religion.
For his part, the head of the Charitable Society for the Memorization of the Noble Qur’an in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region, Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Obaid, presented his great thanks and gratitude to the Deputy Emir of the region for his generous sponsorship of the association’s graduates’ ceremony. It is under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and the financial and administrative supervision of the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector.
The annual celebration of memorizers comes within the framework of encouraging the Charitable Society for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region and its endeavor to achieve its goals within the care and interest of the wise leadership – may God support them – in the Holy Qur’an in learning and teaching.
