Since the beginning of the Yemeni crisis, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has not stopped its humanitarian, relief and economic efforts, which target all Yemenis from Socotra to Saada, and permanently extended its hand to its brothers, and this culminated in success in preventing the brotherly country from reaching a humanitarian catastrophe.
The Kingdom provided 3 deposits to the Central Bank of Yemen, the first of which was in 2012, following the political crisis and the success of the Gulf initiative in achieving penetration, in which it deposited one billion dollars in the Central Bank of Yemen in Sana’a in support of the Yemeni economy, and on February 20, 2017, it deposited two billion dollars in the Central Bank of Yemen in Aden, in support of the Yemeni riyal, and in support of the Presidential Leadership Council, last year provided a deposit of two billion dollars equally between the Kingdom and the UAE to the Central Bank of Yemen, in addition to granting oil derivatives at a value of $622 million, and development projects and initiatives that were recently presented through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen at a value of 400 million. dollars, and continues to provide support to the Council and the Yemeni people, which contributed to preserving the Yemeni economy and the non-collapse of the national currency, in addition to the continuous humanitarian support that did not stop and was keen on the interests of the Yemeni people.
Saudi Arabia, as it celebrates the memory of the pledge of allegiance to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who brought about a quantum leap, attaches special importance to its Yemeni brothers in the labor market, and has striven to provide facilities and correct the conditions of the community, and even to continue to grant visas to Yemeni workers within the framework of its constant eagerness to help its brothers. Those who are linked by many common fraternal factors, and spare no effort in order to save Yemen and help it achieve a comprehensive and just peace, build its state that it aspires to, and advance its economy with the rest of the countries in the region.
