The experiment focused on tracking the journey of products from the farm to the point of sale, by displaying the details of the product’s journey and the parties related to the supply chain (for example: farm, slaughterhouse, retailer) with full transparency to the end consumer, and the data is recorded in decentralized records that are not subject to any modification. , which is the most advanced and secure registry.
The experiment also included displaying other information about the supply chain partners, the most prominent of which was: the “Halal” certificate from the Saudi Halal Center, which monitors the work of slaughterhouses for meat products in the form of a non-fungible symbol (NFT). These advanced records also help to enhance the values of transparency; This raises the level of trust among supply chain entities and consumers.
It is noteworthy that the global market for halal products is growing at a high rate. This constitutes an opportunity to enable local companies to access global markets with a competitive advantage, which is a halal certificate documented by the Saudi Halal Center in a non-tamperable form and in the form of a non-replaceable code. This solution also contributes to verifying the authenticity of the products; This enhances transparency and support for promising national companies.
