The British Parliament's Corruption Watch has opened an investigation into Prime Minister Rishi Sunak; Due to the possibility of not declaring conflicts of interest.
An update on the parliamentary website shows that the investigation, which was opened last Thursday, relates to Article 6 of the House of Commons Code of Conduct.
And the paragraph stated: “Members must always be open and frank in announcing any relevant interest in any procedures of the Council or its committees, and in any contacts with ministers, members, public officials or holders of public office.”
A spokeswoman for the British Prime Ministry said: "We are delighted to assist the Commissioner to explain how transparently this was announced as a ministerial interest."
Sunak faced questions last month after it emerged that his wife's part-owned child care company would benefit from policy changes to the budget.
The Prime Minister did not mention his wife's interest when he spoke about childcare fees in the presence of the Liaison Committee following the disclosure of the budget.
In response to a question about whether he had anything to announce at the time by Labor MP Catherine McKinnell, he said: "No, all my disclosures are made in the normal way."
