A spokesman for the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, Fahd Al-Otaibi, confirmed to “Okaz” that the institution, through the General Administration for Private Training, follows up and monitors training courses and advertisements that violate the rules and regulations of private training and published on social media through continuous proactive monitoring.
The Private Training Department works according to a procedural sequence in monitoring and classifying the observed violations (social media – e-mail messages – phone messages – websites – notifications) through several communication channels made available by the Corporation to the beneficiaries, the most prominent of which are: Your Training Application – the Corporation's accounts on the communication sites Social – Email – Customer Relationship Office.
After monitoring and verifying the violation, the violating training provider is addressed to address the violation and given him an adequate opportunity for treatment. In the event that he does not respond within a specified period, coordination is made with the competent authorities to implement the legal procedures against him.
The number of violations that were monitored during the first quarter of 2023 reached more than 80 violating entities that provided training, and they were fully dealt with.
Al-Otaibi pointed out that while the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation is working to encourage the private sector to invest in the training sector to enable it to keep pace with the needs of beneficiaries and developments in the labor market in the Kingdom, it attaches great importance to the aspect of quality and level of performance of the work provided in the private training market.
