The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Jassem Muhammad Al-Budaiwi, expressed his deep concern over the state of escalation and military clashes between the military armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces, calling on all political leaders in Sudan to calm down, restraint, and give priority to the language of dialogue, the voice of wisdom, and uniting the ranks in a way that contributes to completing what has been done. Achieving a consensus in light of the framework agreement aimed at reaching a political declaration that will achieve political stability, economic recovery and prosperity for Sudan and its people, and spare civilians the consequences of fighting.

Al-Budaiwi affirmed the firm positions and decisions of the Cooperation Council regarding the importance of preserving the security, safety and stability of Sudan, preserving the cohesion of the state and its institutions, supporting Sudan in facing economic challenges, and achieving the aspirations of its brotherly people, as well as praising the international efforts of the tripartite mechanism (the United Nations Mission in Sudan, the African Union and the Inter-Governmental Authority for Development). ), the Quartet (the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United States of America and the United Kingdom), and the Group of Friends of Sudan, with the aim of reaching a consensus between the political forces, ending the crisis and achieving security and stability in Sudan.

The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council appealed to all the conflicting parties to resort to dialogue and peaceful ways to overcome differences to enhance the security and stability of Sudan, and to achieve the aspirations of its brotherly people.
