The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, addressed a speech on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr for the year 1444 AH.

The following is the text of the speech that was honored by the Minister of Information, Salman bin Yusef Al-Dosari:

In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful

Praise be to God, who says in His Noble Book: (To Him ascend good words, and righteous deeds exalt them)

And prayers and peace be upon His faithful Prophet, his family and all his companions.

My sons and daughters..

My brothers and sisters, citizens and residents, in our dear homeland, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia..

O Muslims, men and women everywhere..

May the peace, blessings, and mercy of God be upon you:

We are pleased to congratulate you on the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, Happy New Year, and may God accept from us and from you the fasting of the month of Ramadan, its prayers and good deeds, and bring it back to us and you for many years, and we, you, our country and all the countries of the world, enjoy security, peace and reassurance.

It is God’s grace and success that He singled out the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to the exclusion of other countries, with an unparalleled honor, which is to serve the Two Holy Mosques, and to watch over the comfort of the guests of the Most Merciful, including pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors, and we are very proud of that, and we feel the sacred duty, and the fulfillment of this honorable responsibility, We make every effort, thought and money, and we continue day and night, since the establishment of the state at the hands of the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, may God rest his soul, through the covenants of his sons the kings after him – may God have mercy on them – and we are proud and honored to continue the mission, and we will always remain so, God willing.

Among the innumerable blessings of God is that it is easy, in Ramadan this year, to perform Umrah for millions of pilgrims. .

Brothers and sisters:

One of the manifestations of the happy Eid is showing joy, communication, tolerance, and caring for those in need. May God bless us and you with joy and happiness.

We hope that Eid will come, and with it news of stability, security, and reassurance for our region, and for the whole world, by His might and might, the Blessed and Exalted be He.

May God bless our Eid, enjoy health and happiness, and protect our homeland and all the countries of the world from all evil, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.

Peace, mercy and blessings of God.
