On behalf of the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, the Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, inaugurated today, in his office electronically, the Ramadan campaign under the slogan “Compassion from our Society” in the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, which is organized by the National Committee for the Care of Prisoners and Released. On behalf of them and their families, “Tarahum” was attended by the designated Chairman of the Traham Committee in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Jeddah, Counselor Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Hamdan, and the Executive Director of the Committee in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in charge and Jeddah, Walid bin Khader Al-Ahmadi. He also inaugurated and under his auspices, electronically, the Ramadan campaign “Tarahum from our Society” in Jeddah Governorate.
He listened to a brief explanation from the head of the “Tarahum” Al-Hamdan Committee about the campaign, which aims to develop the financial resources of the committee, and to provide support to beneficiary families in various fields, whether material, in-kind or moral. In achieving material, psychological and social stability for the families of prisoners and covering basic needs, including direct financial support, in-kind programs and other programs for prisoners and their families.
The governor of Jeddah praised the state's care and concern under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – to the prisoners and their families.
It is noteworthy that "Tarahum" provides 32 services through the basic care path, the family care path, and the skills development path.
