The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, appreciated the issuance of the Cabinet’s decision approving the application of the administrative organization of the governorates (Jeddah, Taif, and Al-Ahsa) to the governorates (Qatif, Khamis Mushait, Al-Khobar, Jubail, Hafar Al-Batin, Al-Kharj, and Yanbu), stressing that this It comes as a continuation of the support and sound directives to provide the best services to citizens, residents and visitors in all regions of the Kingdom.
During his presidency in Jeddah yesterday, he discussed the thirtieth annual meeting of the princes of the regions and a number of reports and working papers on the agenda, which included many topics and aimed at enabling the emirates of the regions to perform their tasks and enhance their capabilities. During the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud inaugurated the digital platform (manateq) that supports the emirates of the regions in implementing their tasks, which the Ministry of Interior Agency for Regions Affairs worked to develop to display social, demographic and economic indicators in a way that supports the decisions made by ministries and government agencies concerned with spatial planning for public services, and determining the extent of adequacy and efficiency of spending.
Manateq platform comes as part of the Ministry of Interior's continuous efforts to implement smart digital government in all its sectors and support digital transformation to achieve excellence in government performance in a way that enhances community development and a sustainable economy.
