The Municipality of Taif Governorate, and the branch of the Ministry of Transport in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, blamed each other for the neglected billboards that distort Al-Hada Road (Jabal Al-Kur), without removing or improving them with aesthetic or advertising images about the Taif Governorate or Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

At a time when the director of the branch of the Ministry of Transport in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, Engineer Khaled Al-Otaibi, confirmed that Al-Hada Road is within the urban scope, and the borders of the Ministry of Transport in billboards only are outside the urban scope, and that all the paintings belong to the Taif Municipality, the Taif Municipality denied its responsibility for the paintings that distort the road, confirming that the responsibility for road signs rests with the Ministry of Transport.

For their part, a number of drivers of Al-Hada Road in Taif called for a review of the visual distortion resulting from the neglected billboards on the road. As it is a path for millions of travelers and those visiting Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

They pointed out that taking advantage of the signs scattered on the road is a requirement, by placing posters of the tourist and historical sites in Taif and the festivals implemented by the concerned authorities in Taif, as the signs distort the road despite the large numbers of cars that travel the road from inside and outside the Kingdom.
