Today (Sunday) the Tunisian Border Guard announced the death of 29 migrants of different African nationalities as a result of their boats sinking off the coast of the country, confirming the occurrence of three incidents.

The Tunisian National Guard said in a statement that it recovered the bodies of 29 immigrants from African countries after their boats sank off the coast of the country, explaining that 11 illegal immigrants of different African nationalities were rescued after the sinking of illegal immigration boats.

One of the accidents occurred 58 kilometers off the coast of Tunisia, and a Tunisian fishing vessel recovered 19 bodies after the boat sank. In a second incident, a marine guard patrol off the city of Mahdia (center) recovered eight bodies and rescued 11 migrants after their boat sank while on its way to Italy, while a boat was recovered.
